【摘要】:Thisspecificationcoverscentrifugalandaxialfansandblowerswithairstreamcomponentsfabricatedoffiber-reinforcedthermosetplastics(FRP)forcorrosionresistance.Internalstructuresmayincludeencapsulatedmetalfasteningdevices,hubs,andshafts.Reinforcingmaterialsotherthanfibrousglassmaybeusedinthefabrication,providedthefansandblowersproducedmeetalltherequirementsofthisspecification.Theterm"fans"asusedinthisspecificationincludesfansandblowers,bothcentrifugalandaxial.Thepurposeofthisspecificationistoprovideusers,systemdesigners,specifiers,andmanufacturersofFRPfanswithminimumstandardsforfanconstructionandacommonbasisfordeterminingsafeoperatingspeeds.Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareprovidedforinformationonly.Note1-ThereisnosimilarorequivalentISOstandard.Note2-AppendixX2containsalistofdocumentsthatmaybeofinteresttodesignersoffansystems.1.6Thisstandarddoesnotpuporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhelathpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
