【摘要】:Thisisafiretestresponsestandard.Thistestmethoddescribesthemeasurementofsurfaceflammabilityofflexiblecellularmaterials.Thisstandardmeasuresanddescribestheresponseofmaterials,products,orassembliestoheatandflameundercontrolledconditions,butdoesnot,byitself,incorporateallfactorsrequiredforfirehazardorfireriskassessmentofthematerials,products,orassembliesunderactualfireconditions.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Firetestingofproductsandmaterialsisinherentlyhazardous,andadequatesafeguardsforpersonnelandpropertyshallbeemployedinconductingthesetests.Thistestmethodmayinvolvehazardousmaterials,operationsandequipment.SpecificinformationabouthazardsisgiveninSection7.Note1-ThereisnosimilarorequivalentISOstandard.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunits,inbrackets,areforinformationonlyandareapproximations(seealsoIEEE/ASTMSI-10).
