【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversthegeneralcharacteristicsoflowstretchorstatickernmantleropesusedforrescueapplications,whatevertheirconstituentmaterial.Thisspecificationdoesnotapplytodynamicropeintendedforleadclimbing.1.2Thisspecificationcoverssmalldiametersizescommonlyusedinlifesafetyapplications.Theseincludesizes7to16mm(9/32to5/8in.).1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsshallbeconsideredasstandard.Valuesininch-poundunitsareincludedforreference.1.4Intheeventofanyconflictbetweenthetextofthisspecificationandanyreferencescited,thetextofthisspecificationtakespreference.Thisspecificationmayinvolvehazardousmaterials,operations,andequipment.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
