【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesmethodsforgeneratingandtestingprimenumbersasrequiredincryptographicprotocolsandalgorithms.Firstly,thisInternationalStandardspecifiesmethodsfortestingwhetheragivennumberisprime.ThetestingmethodsincludedinthisInternationalStandardcanbedividedintotwogroups:·Probabilisticprimalitytests,whichhaveasmallerrorprobability.Allprobabilistictestsdescribedheremaydeclareacompositetobeaprime.Onetestdescribedheremaydeclareaprimetobecomposite.·Deterministicmethods,whichareguaranteedtogivetherightverdict.Thesemethodsuseso-calledprimalitycertificates.Secondly,thisInternationalStandardspecifiesmethodstogenerateprimenumbers.Again,bothprobabilisticanddeterministicmethodsarepresented.NOTEReaderswithabackgroundinalgorithmtheorymayhavehadpreviousencounterswithprobabilisticanddeterministicalgorithms.WestressthatthedeterministicmethodsinthisInternationalStandardinternallystillmakeuseofrandombits,and"deterministic"onlyreferstothefactthattheoutputiscorrectwithprobabilityone.AnnexBdescribesvariantsofthemethodsforgeneratingprimessothatparticularcryptographicrequirementscanbemet.Themethodsforgenerating,provingandverifyingprimalitydefinedbythisInternationalStandardareapplicabletocryptographicsystemsbasedonthepropertiesoftheprimes.NOTEThespecificationsofthetestsgiveninthisInternationalStandarddefinethepropertiestobetestedinthesimplestpossibleform.Followingthesespecificationsdirectlywillnotnecessarilyproducethemostefficientimplementations.ThisisespeciallythecasefortheFrobenius-Granthamtest.
